OSPrint Service is a web application designed to make printing your documents quick and easy. With just a few simple steps, you can upload your PDF files and set your print options—all from one place.
Why we use PDF format
Here's why we prefer PDF documents over other formats such as DOCX (Word), XLSX (Excel), etc.:
Consistency across platforms
PDF files appear the same on any device or operating system, ensuring consistent printing results.
Maintains formatting
PDFs preserve all visual elements exactly as intended, including layout, fonts, and images.
Universal accessibility
PDFs can be opened with any PDF reader, eliminating compatibility issues.
System requirements & limitations
Before uploading your documents, please be aware of the following system limitations:
File limitations
- Maximum file size: 50 MB per PDF
- Maximum files per order: 10 files
- Maximum pages per document: 300 pages
File format
- Only PDF files are accepted
- Files must be valid and not corrupted
- Password-protected PDFs are not supported
How to use OSPrint Service
Follow these simple steps to submit your documents for printing. Each step is explained in detail to help you through the process.
Enter your name
Start by entering your full name in the name field at the top of the page. This is important because:
- It helps identify your print job when you collect it
- It serves as a backup way to find your order if you lose your order number
- The staff can call your name when your prints are ready
Tip: Use your first and last name, written clearly and correctly.
Select service location
- Explore the list of available locations
- Select your preferred location from the list. This is where you will go to pay and pick up your printed documents.
Uploading your documents
Direct upload
- Look for the blue "Choose PDF" button
- Click it to open your device's file browser
- Find and select your PDF file(s)
- You can add up to 10 files at once
- The maximum file size allowed is 50 MB.
- The upload will start automatically
Remember: Only PDF files are accepted. If you have other file types, see our conversion guide below.
Managing your documents
After uploading, you can:
- View your uploaded documents in the list with file name, page count, estimated cost, and file size
- Remove any document by clicking the Remove button
- Click Preview to view the document with navigation controls (zoom in/out, page navigation)
- Use the Select pages feature to choose specific pages to print
Using the page selection feature:
- Click Select pages on any uploaded document
- A modal window will open showing thumbnail previews of all pages
- Click on individual page thumbnails to select or deselect them
- Use Select all to quickly select all pages
- Use Deselect all to clear your selection
- Selected pages will be highlighted with a blue border and checkmark
- The counter at the top shows how many pages you've selected
- Click Confirm selection when you're done
Example: If you have a 10-page document but only need pages 1, 5, and 7-9, you can select just those 5 pages. Your cost will be calculated based only on the selected pages.
Configure print settings
- The paper size is automatically detected, but you can select a different size if needed. Supported paper sizes include Letter, Legal, and Tabloid. (Availability varies based on your location of choice.)
- Choose between Grayscale (Black & white) or Auto-detect printing modes. (Availability varies based on your location of choice.)
- Select Grayscale (Black & white) if your document is entirely in black and white
- Select Auto-detect if your document contains both grayscale (black & white) and color content, or if you're unsure of the appropriate print mode. This option will automatically detect the color of each page and apply the appropriate printing settings
- Enable Two-sided printing if you want your document printed on both sides of the paper (also known as duplex printing).
- Specify the number of copies needed
Submit and collect
- Review the Total cost displayed at the top of the form
- Verify all your settings (location, documents, print modes, copies, two-sided option)
- Click the green Submit button to finalize your order
- A success message will appear with your order number (e.g., OSPS2026-00123)
- Write down or take a screenshot of your order number — you'll need it to collect your prints
- Proceed to your selected location
- Present your order number to the cashier and make payment
- Wait for your name to be called when your documents are ready
- Collect your printed documents
Important: Keep your order number safe! If you lose it, you can still identify your order using your name, but having the order number makes the process faster.
